Global Investment Policy Foundation — Institutional status, regulatory standing, and mandatory disclosures.
1. Institutional Status
The Global Investment Policy Foundation ("GIPF") is a policy research and advisory institution affiliated with the Public Investment Fund ("PIF") of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. GIPF operates as a think-tank and policy advisory body and is not registered as an investment adviser, investment manager, broker-dealer, or financial institution in any jurisdiction.
GIPF does not hold, manage, or administer client funds. It does not accept deposits, extend credit, or engage in regulated financial services activities.
2. Not an Offer or Solicitation
Nothing on this website or in any GIPF publication, report, commentary, or communication constitutes an offer to sell, a solicitation of an offer to buy, or a recommendation with respect to any security, financial instrument, fund, investment product, or investment strategy. GIPF research is provided solely for informational and policy-analysis purposes.
3. Relationship with the Public Investment Fund
GIPF is an affiliated institution of PIF, which is the sovereign wealth fund of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia established under Royal Decree. PIF is overseen by the Council of Economic and Development Affairs (CEDA) chaired by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. GIPF's policy research mandate is derived from, and in support of, PIF's broader national investment and development objectives.

GIPF operates with institutional independence in its research outputs and policy recommendations. Views expressed in GIPF publications represent the analytical conclusions of GIPF researchers and do not constitute official government policy unless explicitly stated.

GIPF complies with all applicable anti-money laundering (AML), counter-financing of terrorism (CFT), and international sanctions regulations, including those administered by OFAC, the UN Security Council, and relevant Saudi regulatory authorities. GIPF does not engage with individuals, entities, or jurisdictions subject to applicable sanctions regimes.

All research outputs published by GIPF are protected by copyright. Citation in academic, journalistic, and policy contexts is permitted with appropriate attribution to the Global Investment Policy Foundation.
